what if i told you that you could have access to 95 old school games…and i’m not talking just pac-man and asteroids here. this is all about the classics.
burger-time, contra, mario bros (before they were super), Â qix, 1942, tapper, zaxxon, pole position…they’re all here.
The C64 version of “Spy Hunter” utilized only 2/3 of the screen, and the game-play was centered. Consequently, there is an unused black band on the left and right side of the screen. If you were patient, you could slowly drive over the grass to the left or right and ultimately drive in the part of the game that was not intended for use. After doing so, you can coast through the game at top speed until time ran out and the limo arrives to shoot you.
Trivia: “Yie Ar Kung Fu” means “One-Two Kung Fu”, in Mandarin.
