I don’t know how accurate the reported values are, or what they rate a BTU to be, but typically, 1 kWh = 3412 Btu.
Therefor, translating cryptic plots, China = 4.17 * 3412 = 14×10^12
USA = 97.73×10^12
So the US uses well over 6x the energy of China. The polar bears are doomed.
